Our community is designed small and home-like, with bedrooms and other areas large enough so that the resident will not feel cramped or confined and will have room for social interaction with family and friends.

At LaurelWoods, residents have the right to live as they want and participate in as many activities as they choose. This independence also means residents may keep their own doctor, physical therapist or any other person who is currently important in caring for them.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture or they may obtain it from the community for a small monthly fee. The common areas are designed and furnished for comfort and safety.

LaurelWoods is licensed and inspected by the North Carolina Division of Facility Services, but in addition, LaurelWoods has its own quality assurance program that is ongoing and assures the resident safety and comfort in an independent lifestyle.

We have a 24-hour staff of caring people who realize that you are a person like them and deserve the best care, respect and privacy.
